Town of Spring Lake
The North Carolina Local Government Commission (LGC) assumed control of the financial affairs of the Town of Spring Lake on Oct. 5, 2021, under North Carolina General Statute 159-181(c). Information on this page is intended to keep the general public informed about the town's finances and other developments.
The Local Government Commission (LGC) is vested with the powers of the governing board of Spring Lake for the adoption of budgets and other financial matters pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 159-181(c). The LGC voted on and adopted the FY2022 budget for Spring Lake at a special meeting on June 22, 2021, and is available below. Please note that this is the budget as adopted June 22, 2021, and does not reflect any amendments adopted since that date.

FY2023 Budget Hearing
A public hearing will be held on the Town of Spring Lake’s FY2023 budget on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 7:00 P.M.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the budget hearing at Town Hall or participate using the link below. Those who wish to provide public comment at the budget hearing should refer to the information provided in the hearing notice for participation requirements.
FY2023 Budget Presentation and Vote
The budget will be presented to the LGC for review and adoption at a special meeting on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. Members of the public are welcome to listen to the meeting using the meeting link below.
