June 30, 2022 LGC-203 Report Due July 25

Reminder: the LGC-203 Cash and Investments report for the June 30, 2022, reporting period is due on or before July 25, 2022. This reporting requirement applies to all local governments and public authorities under G.S. 159-33 and G.S. 115C-446.

All LGC-203 reports are submitted via the LOGOS system. If your unit needs to request new accounts or make changes to access to the system, please email LOGOS@nctreasurer.com.

LGC-203 resources and information are available on our LGC-203 webpage.

New Questions:  Several new questions have been added to the LGC-203 report:

On the “Unit Information” Tab

A new question will ask if your unit’s finance officer has less than one year of experience as a finance officer in local governments in North Carolina. This question will help us to identify units and finance officers that could benefit from resources and guidance from LGC staff.

On the “Cash on Hand” Tab

A new question will ask about your unit’s daily deposit policy (related to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 159-32(a)).

On the “Additional Investments” Tab

Boards of Education will see two new questions related to endowment funds. Note that only Boards of Education will have these questions displayed on the “Additional Investments” tab; no other units will see these questions.

If you have any questions on these changes, please contact the LGC203 Team.
