Units of local government planning to submit debt applications to the Local Government Commission (LGC) should be aware of revised submission deadlines for FY2024 late audits and responses to Financial Performance Indicators of Concern (FPICs).
The revised deadlines apply to debt applications submitted for consideration at the October, November, and December 2025 LGC meetings. Units that have not yet submitted an FY2024 audit report and wish to be included on the agenda for any of these meetings must now submit the FY2024 audit by July 1 for their debt application to be considered. Any required FPIC responses must now be submitted by August 1.
