The UNC School of Government is offering a “Fiduciary Responsibilities of Local Elected Officials” course on April 2. The course will be held via Zoom from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
One of the most important duties of local elected officials is understanding their financial fiduciary responsibilities. This course will focus on understanding and responding to the annual audit, fund balance including its limitations and flexibility, and the reporting requirements of the Local Government Commission.
