LGC staff have identified and corrected issues with Data Input Workbooks (DIWs) as described below. Note that all DIWs now have a version date of 10-13-2023 except for mental health and health district units, which have a revision date of 10-18-2023.
PLEASE USE THE DIWs DATED 10-13-2023 OR 10-18-2023 FOR ANY FY2023 AUDITS NOT YET SUBMITTED.
The following DIW issues have been identified and corrected:

Applicable to Mental Health: question 558 on the “Unit Data from Audit” worksheet had been inadvertently removed from the workbook and is now included.
**This corrected version must be used for any mental health audits.**
- Applicable to BOE A-J, BOE K-Z, Libraries, Power Agencies, Housing Authorities, Mental Health, District Health: Revisions were made to correct internal processing errors that impact the efficiency of our review process. Using the latest version of these DIWs is strongly encouraged so that LGC staff may more quickly process and review these audits. No action is required if the data input workbook has been submitted or if you have started the data input workbook.
- Applicable to Utilities Authorities: questions 906-957 on the “Unit Data from Audit Worksheet”: these questions were populated with test data. Please use the corrected DIW or ensure that any data entered in a prior version DIW contains the unit’s correct data in these fields.
- Applicable to “All Other Units”, County, Mental Health, ElectriCities: “TD Info Completed by Auditor” spreadsheet, Section 1, question 1079 in column D may give an incorrect message “Financial Performance Indicator of Concern that requires a response.” If the question on the “Performance Indicators Print” spreadsheet in column G states “Response Not Required,” disregard the message in column D for question 1079.

- Applicable to ALL Data Input Workbooks except for Tourism Development Authority and Housing Authorities: “TD Info Completed by Auditor” spreadsheet, Section 2, Question 1071: question text was revised to read “Enter “0”” instead of “Enter “zero’”.
