LGC staff is updating the list on our website of firms providing audit and non-audit accounting services to local governments and public authorities in North Carolina.
As of February 1, 2023 all information on the list will be deleted. The list will then be populated with new/updated information provided by firms that wish to be included on the new list.
All firms who are currently on the list of firms on our website, or who are the auditor of record for a local government or public authority for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, that is required to submit an annual audit to the Local Government Commission have received an email from LGC staff with instructions on how to submit their information for inclusion on the new list.
If your firm wishes to be included and has not received this email, please contact SLGFD@nctreasurer.com.
A new list will be published on the website on February 3 with the updated information.
Note: The staff of the LGC compiles and provides a list of firms providing audit and non-audit accounting services to local governments and public authorities (as defined in N.C.G.S. 159-7) as a service to these units.The information presented in the list is submitted by firms offering audit and non-audit services. Neither the LGC nor its staff is responsible for the accuracy of the content on the list. Additionally, neither the LGC nor its staff recommend or endorse firms, and the inclusion of a firm on the list does not imply an LGC or staff endorsement, recommendation or approval. The list may not include all firms that offer these services.
