While uploading the 2022 AFIR, some units are getting an error message stating: “File load error. Please contact your support staff for more details.” The census is aware and are currently working on their website. Effective immediately, all AFIRs will need to be saved as Excel 97-2003 Workbook(*.xls) in order to be uploaded on the census website.

Go to save as:
Click the arrow highlighted below:
Select Excel 97-2003 Workbook(*.xls); hit save; then upload to AFIR site.
