Audit contract forms have been updated for the 2019 fiscal year and are available at https://www.nctreasurer.com/state-and-local-government-finance-division/local-government-commission/submitting-your-audit
A few changes to note:
1 – Both the LGC-205 Standard form and the LGC-205 Hospital form have been updated. Minor changes have been made in the contract language throughout, and three additional contract items have been added: item 21 addresses retention of client records, and items 22 and 23 address termination of contract.
2 – The format of the forms has been updated to streamline completion. Required fields are located on page 1 of the contract, page 6 (fees), and pages 7 and 8 (signatures). Please refer to the “Instructions for Submitting Contracts – 2019" on the website above for details on completing the form. Our intent is to make completing these forms easier for everyone!
3 – The LGC-205 Amended form (for filing amended contracts) has also been updated but only includes format changes and minor language updates.
If you have not yet started completing your 2019 contracts, we strongly encourage you to use the new forms. We believe you will find them easier to use.
