NC Emergency Management - Mutual Aid Agreement

Would your local government like to help a unit that has suffered the effects of Hurricane Florence?  The NC Emergency Management Mutual Aid Agreement can help you make sure you help others in the most efficient and effective ways possible.  This agreement was created after Hurricane Floyd through a joint effort of the NCLM and the NCACC.  It is administered by the NC Emergency Management Division of DPS.

All 100 counties and over 3/4 of our municipalities have signed on to this voluntary agreement on how to best provide aid.  Your emergency management director can tell you if your unit has signed up.

If you have not signed up but would like to do so or just want more information, please contact the Exercise Officer at NC Emergency Management at 919-825-2772.  You also can click here for more information.

If your unit has agreed to participate in this mutual aid agreement, make sure you are following the requirements of the agreement as you reach out to, or in some cases are contacted by, units that need help.
