The IRS offers a free "alert" service for items of interest to Federal, State, and local governments. These alerts can include changes to tax law, the availability of new or revised forms, and information about what is required from a government as an employer with regards to tax and information filings. You can sign up for these alerts here. Once you enter your email address, you will be directed to create a password (optional) and sign off on the privacy policy. On the next screen you will select the category "Fed State & Local Governments" to subscribe to the FSLG alert service.
