Treasurer Cowell and the Department are committed to providing the best customer service to all state employees and being an open and accessible office. The Department brings efficiency through the increased use of technology, relies on financial professionals to advise on strategic decisions concerning the pension plan and is comitted to providing helpful information to public employees, state and local governments and citizens. Cowell also promotes Voluntary Public financing for the State Treasurer’s race to provide transparency of campaign funding.
