Treasurer's Transparency Section
Treasurer Cowell recognizes that restoring public confidence in financial markets, banks and government is necessary in the successful execution of her office. Access to government meetings and documents is enshrined in the state’s constitution and is one of the pillars of a strong democracy.
These principles have been built into both the mission statement and the execution of the Department’s strategic plan. The Treasurer's Transparency Section has been created to offer the public access to an understanding of how public funds are invested and how those decisions are made.
