Host a Retirement Planning Conference in 2006

The Retirement Systems Division will hold year-round Retirement Planning Conferences across the State during 2006. These conferences are open to any employee who is seeking information regarding retirement benefits under the Teachers’ and State Employees’ Retirement System (TSERS) or the Local Governmental Employees’ Retirement System (LGERS). We need your help identifying facilities where we can hold a conference in your area.  Conferences usually require a room that can hold 100-150 people. The length of all conferences is approximately 2 ½ hours. The session for employees in the Teachers’ and State Employees’ Retirement System begins at 9:30 a.m. and the session for employees in the Local Governmental Employees’ Retirement System begins at 1:30 p.m.

Agreeing to host a conference means providing the facility only. Please contact Alice DeVane at 919-508-5187 if you have a facility to offer and would like to give employees in your area the benefit of a conference.
